When staying away from home with a food allergy, self-catering accommodation is a wise choice as you have full control over your environment and what you eat. Read on to discover how a serviced apartment at 9 Hertford Street can help you experience a relaxed London break with your allergy safely considered.
Staying in a Serviced Apartment at 9 Hertford Street
At 9 Hertford Street, all of our apartments have fully equipped kitchens which are fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooking utensils, tableware and a washing machine. They provide the perfect space for safely storing, preparing and cooking food, and sterilising kitchenware.
Our apartments also offer a separate dining area where you can relax and enjoy your meals.
We are served by a good selection of local supermarkets; our closest are Tesco Express (Curzon Street), Sainsbury’s Local (Stratton Street), M&S Food To Go (Piccadilly) and Fortnum & Mason (Piccadilly). Slightly further afield, there’s Waitrose & Partners (Bressenden Place). Furthermore, major supermarkets offer delivery services which makes things even simpler as your groceries can be delivered directly to your apartment.
There’s also Farm Shop on South Audley Street for seasonal produce, condiments, cheeses, meats and breads.
Mercato Mayfair (North Audley Street) is a fabulous food hall in a church, where you can buy artisan and specialty groceries.
London’s major food market is Borough Market (Southwark) which offers a fabulous choice of fresh produce and groceries.
If you’d like someone else to prepare your meals for you, we can recommend a selection of private chefs to suit every budget and taste.
Allergy-Friendly London
We are so lucky to be in a city which is recognised as one of the top places to find allergy-friendly restaurants. We do highly recommend that you contact them in advance of your reservation just to be sure that they can safely cater for your allergy.
