The Science Museum has just launched an exciting science-themed afternoon tea at its Gallery Café in South Kensington.

About

The pre-bookable afternoon teas are available from Wednesdays to Sundays between 12:00 and 15:00; two hours are given for a sitting. Benugo chefs have created separate menus for adults and children, the latter encouraging budding scientists to combine flavours and textures to devise their own culinary creations.

For £22, the childrens’ menu includes scones, a petri dish of jelly, cakes, cookies, sandwiches, lemonade and test tubes and beakers of ingredients to experiment with.

For £32, adults can enjoy Earl Grey-soaked scones, cakes, cookies, a petri dish of jelly, sandwiches and an unlimited selection of teas and coffees.

The Science Museum is located in South Kensington and is close to the Victoria & Albert Museum, The Natural History Museum and the Royal Albert Hall.
