The Royal Collections Trust have just confirmed that Buckingham Palace State Room tours will commence on 21 May. Further to this, from 17 April you will have the opportunity to visit Buckingham Palace Garden where you can explore the 39 acres of grounds and see historic highlights including the Plane trees planted by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and the lake’s island which is home to the Buckingham Palace bees. Picnics are welcome so why not call in at one of our fabulous local eateries beforehand for a takeout or hamper to enjoy during your outing. Tickets are sure to sell fast so we would strongly advise you secure your booking as soon as you can.
Keen to whet your appetite before your visit? On 14 April, there will be an online lecture, The Warden’s Welcome, which is an interactive session streamed live from The Queen’s Gallery.
