We are very much looking forward to Kensington Palace’s hotly anticipated new exhibition (their largest to date) which opens next Tuesday.

Entitled Crown to Couture, the immersive show will lead you through the palace’s state rooms where you will see 200 breath-taking pieces which have been created for royalty or more contemporary pieces which have been inspired by court fashions. Curated by Alexander McQueen’s Emmy-winning production designer, Joseph Bennett, it’s guaranteed to be a most spectacular experience.

Whilst every item is worth your attention, we should point out the exhibition highlights which include the Silver Tissue Gown (worn at the court of Charles II), the Rockingham Mantua (1760-1765), Lizzo’s Thom Browne dress and cape (worn at the 2022 Met Gala), Lady Gaga’s Christopher John Rogers dress (worn at the 2020 MTV VMAs) and Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Monique Lhuillier gown (worn at the Emmys in 2019).
