Draughts (Waterloo) is London’s original board games café; boasting a selection of over 800 games and with a friendly team on hand to guide you through rules or grab an extra dice or pen whilst serving you refreshments from their mouth-watering menu, it’s the perfect place to enjoy time with your loved ones. Just a short walk from the London Eye, The London Dungeon and the Sea Life Centre, you may wish to team your visit to Draughts with time at a few of the locality’s attractions.
Draughts can be found in the disused railway arches under Waterloo Station known as Leake Street which is a fantastic venue where urban art, food and drinks are celebrated. The arches themselves are home to the most outstanding array of Insta-worthy graffiti! It’s quite literally an ever-changing canvas as artists paint over works with new creations each day.
Leake Street and Draughts come very highly recommended by our managing director Aude who has recently enjoyed a fabulously relaxing Sunday afternoon there with her family.
Leake Street can be reached from Hertford Street by a scenic walk through Green Park, St James’ Park, past Big Ben and over Westminster Bridge. Alternatively, Leake Street can be accessed by the tube – it’s just two stops along the Jubilee Line from Green Park.
