Eternally Yours at Somerset House (until 25 September)

Somerset House is currently holding an exhibition entitled Eternally Yours which will run until 25 September. Exploring the themes of care, repair and healing, it guides visitors to find creative ways to mend or repurpose their belongings to help eradicate disposable culture, extending the opportunity to cherish items and the stories behind them.

If you visit on a Wednesday, Friday or Saturday, you will be able to see designers repair a whole selection of items in a setting called the Beasley Brothers’ Repair Shop, based on the old East End repair shops where everything and anything would be mended.

Angela Maddock, Celia Pym, Georgina Maxim, Studio Propolis, Ellen Sampson and Peter Marigold all have very inspiring works included in the exhibition.
