Have you ever considered exploring London by the river? Thames Clippers offer regular services running from Putney in West London to Barking in the very east. It’s an incredibly relaxing way to travel and take in the sights. It’s so much fun for children and all boats are dog-friendly (dogs must be secured on leads). Most piers are accessible (with the exception of Cadogan, London Bridge City and Wandsworth Riverside Quarter), and all boats are wheelchair-friendly. All Clippers have on-board cafés offering drinks, snacks (including a vegan selection) and confectionery.
Fares can be paid by either Oyster cards (available from newsagents) or contactless cards, using a touch-in touch-out system. The crew are extremely helpful and are always on hand if you need any assistance at all.
