Family-friendly activities at RIBA this summer

The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), which is located in Portland Place, offers a fabulous programme of workshops and exhibitions, including some which are aimed at younger visitors. The family-friendly events are fantastic at getting children to think about the environment, structural constraints and considerations, and visual design.

This summer, RIBA’s family-friendly schedule includes:

  • Skill Up – Architectural Perspectives (27 July)
  • Family fun day – Power Dressing (30 July)
  • Design Quest – Build-a-puppet (2 August)
  • Design Time – A-maze-ing mazes (4 August)
  • Skill Up – Architecture 101 (9 August)
  • Design Time – Seaside structures (17 & 18 August)
  • Design Quest – Deeper underground (22 & 23 August)
  • Skill Up – brief, design, model (25 & 26 August)

Our managing director Aude has enjoyed several of their previous workshops with her son Leon and they are very much looking forward to attending more this summer.
