Be thoroughly entranced by this wonderful stage adaptation of CS Lewis’ classic tale which sees a group of children transported to the magical kingdom of Narnia.
A Christmas Carol at the Old Vic (12 November – 7 January)
Jack Thorne’s fabulous adaptation of Dickens’ festive classic returns to the Old Vic this year. In 2021, WhatsOnStage awarded it five stars and the Evening Standard described it as “Utterly Joyful. Christmas has arrived.” There will be audio-described, captioned and relaxed performances.
The Snowman at the Peacock Theatre, Sadlers Wells (19 November – 31 December)
Raymond Briggs’ classic winter tale is brought to life with a live orchestra, beautiful dancing and stunning sets to absorb you in the world of James and his beloved snowman. On 30 November, there will be a relaxed performance.
The Wind in the Willows Wilton’s at Wilton’s Music Hall (24 November – 31 December)
This absolutely brilliant modern-day retelling of the classic children’s story starts in Hyde Park and follows the animal friends through the seasons, through London, and through some adventures, as they try to get to Mole’s home in time for Christmas!
Hex at the National Theatre (26 November – 14 January)
Hex is a unique musical retelling of Sleeping Beauty under Rufus Norris’ direction. There are several accessible performances including captioned, BSL, audio-described and sensory adapted.
A Christmas Carol at the Bridge Theatre (6 – 31 December)

The Fir Tree at the Globe Theatre (15 – 31 December)
We are particularly excited about this family-friendly show – a retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale – which promises friendly woodland creatures, tree-decorating and carol singing. Just perfect! There will be captioned, BSL, audio-described and relaxed performances.
Circus 1903 at the Eventim Apollo (15 December – 1 January)
Brought to you by the award-winning puppetry team who created War Horse, be stunned by their circus elephants who are part of the troupe who form this outstanding, turn-of-the-century circus show. You will be utterly transported to the golden age of the circus by some of the world’s leading performers – there will be strong men, contortionists, acrobats, high wire and everything else you can imagine!
