Last weekend saw the opening of the fabulous Gingerbread City exhibition in Belgravia. The city is made up by sixty awe-inspiring constructions which have been created by over one hundred architects, engineers and designers who have used biscuits, cakes, icing and candy as building materials.
Hosted by the Museum of Architecture, it’s a fascinating and inspiring show exploring urban planning and sustainability. If you wish to try your hand at making your own gingerbread house, there are daily workshops for both adults and children.
The exhibition runs until 9 January and can be found at 6-7 Motcomb Street, Belgravia (just a 15 minute walk from Hertford Street).
