Because this specific American Bar within, is famed for introducing the first cocktails to Europe – reason enough to request a Manhattan! This American icon is decorated in an irresistibly sumptuous Art Deco style and was also the only place for US expats to wet their lips in the first half of the 20th Century, not least during the Second World War. Celebrating with cocktails here is a must this Independence Day.
