Enjoy our capital’s attractions in a quieter London
Our beautiful capital city is one of the world’s top tourist destinations, so why not enjoy the attractions in a quieter London this summer? Many of our cultural attractions have reopened their doors and, with social distancing measures in place, these can now be enjoyed without the crowds.
Queens of Mayfair opening
Sisters Victoria Sheppard (31), a marketing hospitality executive and Grace Sheppard (29) a luxury interior designer, are delighted to announce that they are opening their debut hospitality venture Queens, located at 17 Queen Street, Mayfair, on Monday 10 August. Housed within a traditional Georgian building, Queens will be open from breakfast through to dinner, moving effortlessly from casual coffee spot to buzzing evening cocktail and wine bar, serving light bites such as cheese and charcuterie. Dogs are very welcome which is fabulous news for our canine guests!
Eat Out to Help Out scheme
The UK government has launched the Eat Out to Help Out scheme where restaurants and cafes can register to offer discounted meals on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays until 31 August. The list of businesses who have registered can be found here. Some of our favourite eateries have signed up to this, including El Pirata, L’Autre, L’Artiste Muscle, Kitty Fishers, Queens of Mayfair and Ye Grapes.
Shepherd Market promotional film
Barabas Balog, Social Media Manager for Greene King, very kindly organised a promotional video of Shepherd Market to celebrate the reopening of businesses. We were delighted to be included in this film alongside some of our favourite local establishments. It gives a superb taste of what you can find in and around Shepherd Market. The video can be viewed here.
