Life Through a Royal Lens at Kensington Palace (ends 30 October)

We very highly recommend Kensington Palace’s Life Through a Royal Lens exhibition which runs until 30 October. It explores the lives of the Royal Family – whilst on duty and at leisure – through formal intimate and candid shots taken by photographers, family members and the public.

The exhibition includes the very earliest British Royal Family photo (a daguerreotype of Prince Albert taken by William Constable), Alexandra, Princess of Wales’ charmingly decorated photo album, candid pictures taken by Lord Snowden and Catherine, Princess of Wales, Cecil Beaton’s iconic photographs and the very first British royal hologram, of Queen Elizabeth II, created by Levine and Munday.

Entry to the exhibition is included in your ticket to Kensington Palace – a fascinating building to explore, with the most beautiful grounds.
