Today sees the launch of an exciting new public sculpture trail in London which features 56 six-foot artist portrayals of Morph, the endearing clay animated figure who first appeared on tv in 1977.
Working with Morph’s creator Aardman, in collaboration with Wild in Art, the trail will take you to the capital’s most famous landmarks, and, if you download the app, you will learn some fun facts and unlock rewards along the way. What a wonderful, family-friendly way to explore London!
The mission of the step-free and wheelchair-friendly trail is to raise awareness of the importance of accessibility and inclusion. At the end of the eight-week run, the sculptures will be auctioned off to raise much needed funds for the fantastic Whizz-Kidz charity, whose vision is ‘a society in which every young wheelchair user is mobile, enabled and included’.
