Kew Gardens is a delight at any time of year but we particularly love visiting during the annual Orchid Festival. Held in the Princess of Wales Conservatory until 3 March this year, the 2024 festival focuses on the orchids of Madagascar which are displayed alongside the most beautiful living sculptures.
Throughout the festival, there will be an opportunity to see the festival film and enjoy Tina Waibel’s stunning photographs of rural Madagascar in the PoWC, experience some incredible Malagasy dishes at Kew’s restaurants and cafes, and purchase festival souvenirs in the Garden’s shop.
Getting there:
Kew Gardens has its own station which is served by the District Line and London Overground.
