The London Bus Museum will be holding a Route 19 Heritage Day on 29 March. The event will see a fleet of iconic vintage London buses taking passengers between Finsbury Park and Battersea, for free, with several stops in Mayfair.

About

The London Bus Museum holds several Heritage Days a year, both at their site in Weybridge and along routes in the capital. We are particularly excited about the Route 19 day as the fleet will stop at two locations in Mayfair, Piccadilly Circus and Hyde Park Corner Station.

Buses taking part in the Heritage Day will range from 1950s models to ones from the 1970s.

Route 19 was established in 1906 when for the first two years it was known as Route H.

The buses will run the route between 10am and 5pm in both directions. Please note that the regular Transport for London buses will be running the route that day too, but journeys on those will be at a charge.
