The Royal Parks Half Marathon 2025 will be held on 12 October and ballot entries open on 27 January. Located just a short walk from Hyde Park, our luxury apartments at 9 Hertford Street offer the perfect place for you to stay over the race weekend.
About
Established in 2008, the Royal Parks Half Marathon follows a 13.1-mile route through Hyde Park, Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
The event was set up by The Royal Parks charity as an annual fundraiser to help conserve London’s Royal Parks and make them accessible for all. It also allows other charities to become involved. To date, it has raised over £70 million for over 1200 UK charities including The Royal Parks, GOSH and Mind.
The Royal Parks charity
We are so lucky to have over 5000 acres of green space over London’s eight royal parks. Homes to a variety of flora and fauna as well as historic monuments, it costs tens of millions of pounds each year to ensure they are maintained, are accessible and free to visit. These is where the Royal Parks charity step in.
Their vision is: “to provide free access to beautiful, natural and historic parks, which improve our quality of life, health and wellbeing – this is particularly important in a city environment.”
Their purpose is: “to manage, protect and improve the parks in an exemplary and sustainable manner so that everyone, now and in the future, has the opportunity to enjoy their natural and historic environments.”

If you choose to stay with us for a few days, you will find that our Central London location has fantastic transport connections which can efficiently transport you around the city or, on the Elizabeth Line, out of London for day trips, too.
