The Biba Story: 1964-1975, the first exhibition held in London focussing solely on this iconic fashion label, will be opening at the Fashion & Textile Museum on 22 March.

Charting the rise of the Biba brand from a mail-order company to a seven-storey Kensington department store selling womens’, mens’ and childrenswear alongside home furnishings, accessories and make-up, this exciting retrospective will showcase a comprehensive selection of pieces which have been personally chosen by Biba’s founder, Barbara Hulanicki.

Biba created a lifestyle for all. Its USP was its affordability alongside its unique style and bold use of colour, which earned it a clientele ranging from teenagers to the celebrities of Swinging London.

If you have a passion for fashion, this show is not to be missed!

The Biba Story: 1964-1975 will run until 8 September.
