An exciting new perception-challenging attraction, The Paradox Museum, has opened in the heart of west London.

About

The Paradox Museum is the brainchild of Miltos Kambourides and Sakis Tanimanidis. Launching in 2022 in Oslo, they now have venues in Paris, Miami, Stockholm, Berlin and most recently, London. Kambourides enthuses: “We’re excited to introduce the Paradox Museum to London this summer. After our success in other major cities, this innovative experience is a perfect fit for London’s dynamic atmosphere. The Paradox Museum challenges perceptions and invites everyone to experience the world in a new way. Prepare to be amazed and delighted.”

The immersive experience in London offers its visitors over fifty exhibits spread over 25 rooms. Areas include a Zero Gravity Room, a Camouflage Room and a Paradox Tunnel. Further to this, in each of the Paradox Museum’s locations, they feature areas inspired by the city. London has a Reverse Room which is inspired by the London Underground, a Throne Room where one appears to increase and decrease in size, and a magical Castle Room with shifting hallways.

The Paradox Museum explain that the experience “blends science, art, and psychology to provide an educational yet thoroughly entertaining experience. It’s a place where families can explore together, inspiring children to question the world around them and embrace endless possibilities. With countless photo opportunities, visitors can create unforgettable memories.”

Our experience

The Paradox Museum is an extremely welcome, fun addition to this museum-rich area of the city. Stretching the possibilities you may explore at the nearby Science Museum, and considering designs you may encounter from the V&A from a new perspective, it’s a refreshing and alternative experience which can be enjoyed by all ages. You cannot fail to be wowed by the inventiveness and thought which has gone into each area. Naturally, it gives fantastic photo opportunities and team members are on hand to advise you on how best to capture each illusion. Oh, and when you share your images to social media, don’t forget to @london_paradoxmuseum!
